Intro
Hi! I'm Miles Poon, a big Asian American kid, born and raised in San Francisco, CA. I have a very strange mix of interests outside of design including: playing baseball, cooking, watching musicals, playing board games, and drawing. In life, my goal is to leave a positive mark. When it is all said and done, I hope that my life will have made other peoples' lives at least a little bit better.
My Mindset On Design
I am really passionate about the work I do. I want my work to make the world a little bit prettier, an interaction a little bit easier, or make a process a little bit more efficient. When I set out to create something, I want whatever I'm making to be something I can look back on and be proud of. I spend a lot of time outside of class working on my own projects and searching for inspiration. I know that I am still learning and I am excited to get better. With improvement in mind, I try to put myself in environments and surround myself with people that encourage my growth as a designer and a person.
